Inspired by the colonial architecture of the Colombian past, La Nubiecita is set in the Fredonian mountainside, atop the Cauca River, in its own expanse of gardens, lakes and breathtaking views of the valley. Two natural springs are born on the property, and as they fall down the mountain, they nourish the private lakes, organic crops and gardens in which primary home rests. Views from the private balconies stretch across the valley of Fredonia as your eyes feast on the bird life and distant glitter of the towns on the horizon.

La Nubiecita was fantastic. The home has all the luxuries you would typically find in a home in the city and more, while being surrounded by beautiful mountain range. My top favorite things were:

"I wanted somewhere peaceful for my birthday and La Nubiecita gave me exactly what I needed for friends and I. The place is simply stunning, as are the surrounding areas with beautiful nature all around. Check in was super smooth and while there were people on the land to help, we all still felt we had our privacy throughout our stay.
The beds were all very comfy and the bathrooms were clean - great water in the shower too. Internet worked fine and the in-house cinema was a great experience. I'll be booking again. Highly recommend!"
This is an idyllic getaway. The pictures don’t do it justice. The views are amazing and the house is beautifully designed with thoughtful details (the main bathroom is impressive).
Amalia, the housekeeper and chef, was fantastic. The food was perfect and she was available to assist at every turn. We loved enjoying our freshly cooked meals with the incredible dining room view. We will be back.
There are great hosts and properties and then there is Matt, Rocio and La Nubiecita, 5 diamond experience. Without a doubt the best stay I’ve had anywhere. The finca is fully equipped, there is a cook if you desire, 3 lakes, and a pool, everything is modern and well constructed, and the finca is very private. Matt is generous, extremely helpful, and generally a pleasure. This is the best finca and host.
La Nubiecita has been the best home I’ve ever stayed at. The pictures don’t do it justice. Matt is very attentive and the home is excellent. I hope I’m lucky enough to stay here again in the future.
I really can't put into words how amazing our stay was. The house is better than the pictures - it was better than we could have possibly imagined! The attention to details in the interior and exterior spaces were mind-blowing. It was honestly the best Airbnb I've ever stayed in and I would come back to Colombia just to stay there again.
